Recognition Agreement Educational Requirements

Under the terms of the agreement, your organization has agreed to:

Conduct educational programs for the Chapter's members on acquaintance rape and on substance awareness at least once a year.

• An acquaintance-rape program is to be conducted by the end of the sixth week of autumn quarter.
• A substance-awareness program is to be conducted by the end of autumn quarter.

It is expected that at least 80% of the Chapter's membership will attend each program. If there are materials from the programs they must be distributed to those who do not attend and they should be encouraged to review the materials with a Chapter officer.

All programs must be a minimum of one hour in length.

The Chapter must provide to the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Life written verification of the date, topic, speaker and approximate attendance of such programs. The verification shall be signed by the Chapter President and the speaker.
