The Student Counseling Center (SCC) provides a variety of services to assist currently enrolled UW students who face academic, career or personal issues which may interfere with their academic effectiveness. Students may be seen individually, as couples, or in groups. The SCC is open all year, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; and, on Wednesday and Thursday evenings until 7 p.m., by appointment only. Students' sessions with their counselors, and any test results, are treated confidentially by the SCC. No record of any counseling is indicated on a student's academic transcript or record.
