The Kuali Foundation released Kuali Rice 1.0, a project milestone. Rice is a fundamental part of all Kuali applications, the backend infrastructure that provides essential services to every Kuali application. Some of the modules included in Kuali Rice 1.0 are Identity Management and Enterprise Workflow.

Who is providing leadership for the Kuali Student (KS) effort at the University of Washington?
Project oversight is provided by Bill Shirey and Jeanne Marie Isola, Associate Vice Provosts for the Office of Information Management (OIM). Darcy Van Patten, Senior Program Manager, reports to them and manages the current student system operations and maintenance, the UW's involvement in the Kuali consortium, and an eventual student systems replacement project.
Sara Gomez, Vice Provost from OIM and Todd Mildon, University Registrar, sit on the Kuali Student Board. Bill Yock, Associate Vice Provost for OIM, sits on the Kuali Rice Board. Bill Shirey and Bill Yock are the UW representatives on the Kuali Student Steering Committee and Bob Jansson, Associate Registrar, is the UW representative on the Kuali Student Functional Council.
