"In general, UW has a cohesive and committed team leading the Balance@UW initiative, with what appears to be appropriate buy-in from the provost and other senior leaders down to the faculty for an effective roll out of the project. Kate Quinn, the Project Director, is the glue that keeps it all together with timely communications follow through with relevant constituent groups. UW's progress toward their eight goals by 2008 demonstrates their commitment to this faculty career flexibility agenda and indicates the high feasibility that these initiatives will be incorporated into the fabric of the culture of the University."
