About the Academic Technology Advisory Committee (A-TAC)
The Academic Technology Advisory Committee (A-TAC) meets quarterly to provide
advice on academic, teaching, learning, and research technologies, as well as the
academic aspects of clinical technologies.
A-TAC:
- Is chaired by Dr. Matthew O’Donnell, Dean, College of Engineering
- Advises on technology directions, strategies, policies, plans, priorities,
and needs vital to sustaining the UW's excellence and competitiveness in teaching,
learning, research, and academic clinical missions and programs at all levels
across the University
- Advises U-TAC, the Provost and Executive Vice President, and the Vice President for UW Technology
- Appoints task forces and subcommittees as necessary
