Maintaining a globally diverse campus is an essential component of the excellent education provided at the University of Washington. The Office of International Education in the Provost's office supports this mission in several ways.

The Office of International Programs and Exchanges coordinates opportunities for University of Washington domestic students to participate in international educational experiences at one of the UW's 280 international partner institutions or its Rome Center.

The International Services Office (206-543-0841) provides visa and immigration assistance information to students, faculty and staff.

FIUTS (Foundation for International Understanding Through Students) is an organization with a mission to connect the international population on campus with the Puget Sound community through homestays, activities, international student orientation and education outreach programs.

Institute for International Policy is a research center whose mission is to bring to bear new ideas and technologies on the full array of problems and actors that make us the contemporary world.
