College of Education builds Leadership Capacity through Fierce Conversations
College of Education faculty and staff leaders get “Fierce” when Dean Pat Wasley and Human Resources Manager Peggy Frazier bring customized training to their school.
We knew that our faculty and staff supervisors were great, but thought they could be even better with some ideas on how to more effectively gather input from others, draw others out in conversation, give feedback and engage in problem solving. We partnered with Professional & Organizational Development to deliver the Fierce Conversations workshop to a group of 20 faculty and staff leaders. The feedback on the session was very good and we're looking at ways to take the information and skills gained and create culture change within the College of Education.
