Attracting a Diverse Candidate Pool for Staff Positions
Chesca Ward, Diversity Specialist with Minority Affairs and Diversity and LCVI committee member, is spearheading a new employment advertising partnership for 2007 with ColorsNW - our region's largest multicultural publication.
Our new advertising partnership has many benefits. We will recognize some of the UW's best and brightest staff members and highlight the many diversity-related events on campus that are open to the public. Most importantly, the ads will increase the visibility of the UW as a premier employer in communities of color.
