Welcome, As an alumnus of the University of Washington and as a parent of a college student, I am pleased to welcome the involvement of parents and families in the educational and collegiate experiences of our students. My goal is for every student attending the University of Washington to have an outstanding education and experience rewarding personal development. This University of Washington web site has been designed for parents and families of current and prospective students. These pages contain descriptions of academic and student support services, information about the University's policies and procedures, a calendar of campus events and activities and many other pertinent topics. The University of Washington has a diverse student body with students from all kinds of backgrounds and families. We welcome the active interest and involvement of parents and families, recognizing that families will have different interests and needs.
