Sixth Annual Qolors Reception

Samuel E. Kelly Distinguished Faculty Lecture

Named in honor of the UW’s first vice president for the Office of Minority Affairs, the annual Samuel E. Kelly Distinguished Faculty Lecture is dedicated to acknowledging the work of UW faculty by spotlighting nationally recognized research focusing on diversity and social justice. Pacific Northwest Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Conference
Date: April 15 – 16, 2011
Location: Washington State University; Pullman, Wash.
The second annual conference will focus on the importance of STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and undergraduate student research. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, panels, and a symposium. The goal of PNW-LSAMP is to increase the quality and quantity of successful baccalaureate students by forming alliances with PNW institutes and providing important tools and information for success.
Mangels Endowed Lecture: Elizabeth Alexander
