Jocelyn P. Ferguson

Jocelyn P. FergusonJocelyn P. Ferguson has over 15 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and directs Mills College’s Corporate and Foundation Relations. Ms. Ferguson brings to the position expertise in fiscal management, strategic planning, major gifts fundraising, grant writing, and volunteerism. Ms. Ferguson’s development expertise extends from higher education philanthropy to the visual and performing arts, as well as health care philanthropy. Ferguson received her bachelor of arts degree in art history from the University of Washington (1990) and attended graduate school at the University of California at Berkeley. During her time at both universities, she studied abroad in Paris several times where she pursued studies in 19th century French impressionist painting. Prior to joining Mills, Ms. Ferguson directed foundation and corporate giving in San Francisco for California Pacific Medical Center’s four hospital campuses that serve over 550,000 people each year.
