Proctored and Online Learning Exams
Proctored Exams
The Testing Center will administer and proctor exams as a courtesy for other educational institutions and organizations as the schedule permits. The Testing Center can administer computer-based, listening, and standard paper-based exams. Exams will be administered based on the exam source's instructions and specifications.
FEES and CHARGES: |
National Academic Courtesy Exams: $40 for the first exam, $20 for additional exams taken concurrently in the same scheduled session. International Academic Courtesy Exams: $60 for the first exam, $20 for additional exams taken concurrently in the same scheduled session. Non-Academic Courtesy Exams (professional certification, human resources, etc.): $100 for the first exam, $20 for additional exams taken concurrently in the same scheduled session. Shipping Charges: shipping charges not paid by the originating institution or organization will be the responsibility of the examinee. Invoiced Fees: Fees that are billed to the institution or organization (not paid directly to the Testing Center by the examinee) will also be subject to an 18% University of Washington overhead charge. We only accept cash, check, or money order payable to "University of Washington" |
REGISTRATION: |
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED in-person in Schmitz Hall Room 440 or by calling 206-543-1171.
It is the responsibility of the examinee to notify their school or organization to send the test materials to the Testing Center office. As a general rule, the exam will not be scheduled until the test materials have arrived. |
ON THE DAY OF THE TEST: |
The examinee must bring picture identification, payment, and any materials required by the exam source. |
Online Learning Exams
The Testing Center will proctor exams for University of Washington Online Learning students completing online/correspondence courses.

$20 per exam.
