Make-up/Course Exams

MAKEUP EXAMS ARE AT THE DISCRETION OF THE COURSE INSTRUCTOR - THE TESTING CENTER CANNOT AUTHORIZE A MAKE-UP EXAM.

Make-up/Course exams are designed for University of Washington students who are unable to take exams at the time they are administered in the classroom, and for faculty who require an alternate, secure test site to have exams administered. Faculty permission is required.

Due to equipment restrictions, the Testing Center can no longer administer make-up exams that include a listening and/or video component. Faculty can download the UW Faculty Exam Form to request a make-up/course exam.

Please note: These are not Distance/Online Exams at UW Educational Outreach - for information about UW Online Learning Exams, please go here.
