Research Services
OEA research staff conduct assessment and program evaluation studies, carry out both large- and small-scale surveys, and provide a variety of data capture, analysis and reporting services. We utilize social science research methodologies and are committed to providing you with the services you need. We describe our work as falling within three general areas, but there is a great deal of overlap among them. Please feel free to contact us with regard to any questions you may have.
Description of Services
Assessment assists UW faculty and administrators in understanding and improving the student experience. We facilitate faculty identification of learning goals and assist in learning outcomes assessment at the levels of the course, department, college or school, and institution.
Program Evaluation supports the development and improvement of educational programs and initiatives at the UW. In particular, grant-funded programs supported by state or federal agencies often are required to include a program evaluation component.
Research Support participates in the design and implementation of a wide range of studies, particularly large-scale surveys, at the request of parties both within and outside the UW.
