Debbie McGhee has worked as a researcher in the Office of Educational Assessment since 1998. Her primary focus is survey research, and her projects also involve the manipulation and analysis of large datasets, such as student records. Ms. McGhee consults with and assists university clients at every stage of the research process, including research design, implementation, data analysis, and report writing. In addition, Ms. McGhee routinely investigates the statistical properties of IASystem (course evaluation) data and updates reliability estimates and item adjustments, as well as helps individual clients who want customized information on course evaluations. In 2003, Ms. McGhee received a Washington Educational Research Association Award for her work on the relationship between 10th grade Washington Assessment of Student Learning scores and university performance. Ms. McGhee received her Bachelor's degree in psychology from the Ohio State University and studied clinical and social psychology at the University of Washington.
