Meany Hall for the Performing Arts houses a 1,200 seat main theatre and the 200 seat Studio Theatre. Music and dance recitals, concerts, plays, and lectures are presented by campus and world-renowned visiting artists.
School of Drama theatres stage comedies, new works, musicals, and dramas. The school's three theatres—The Penthouse, The Playhouse, and The Studio—offer distinctive theater experiences.
The Henry Art Gallery is a nationally recognized center for the exploration of visual culture and is the Pacific Northwest's premier modern and contemporary art museum. The Henry engages visitors in the powerful experience of artistic innovation and serves as a catalyst for the creation of new work in the visual arts.
The Burke Museum presents changing special exhibits and programs on the natural and cultural heritage of the Pacific Rim. Long-term exhibits feature Northwest Coast Native art, the only dinosaur in the Northwest, and gems and minerals.
The Dance Program offers a season of performances choreographed by students, faculty, and invited artists. Its Chamber Dance Company showcases the work of students in the Master of Fine Arts program in dance.
The School of Art houses the Jacob Lawrence Gallery featuring student and faculty work. The school also holds an annual M.F.A. show each spring.
The School of Music presents a wide variety of performances by both faculty and students. In addition, the Ethnomusicology Department presents distinguished visiting artists from around the world in recital and concert.
