This ultrasound scan displays the outline of the pubic arch bone, as detected by the new UW technology, and its relationship to the prostate gland. In this case, the scan shows that the pubic arch does not interfere with the prostate gland so the patient is eligible for brachytherapy, or radioactive seed implantation, treatment.
