The annual Soule lecture features prominent nursing and health care leaders and is supported through the Elizabeth Sterling Soule Endowed Fund, which honors the founding dean of the School of Nursing.

The lecture is scheduled for Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with a celebratory reception to follow and will take place in the Husky Union Building, North Ballroom. Please register here.

The keynote talk caps a week of activities in Seattle designed to highlight local examples of nurses having a positive impact on providing access to quality health care.

The UW School of Nursing is the lead organization shepherding Nursing Now in Washington state, and a co-lead for the national Nursing Now USA initiative. The global Nursing Now initiative, launched in February 2018, is run in collaboration with International Council of Nursing and the World Health Organization. The effort seeks to highlight nursing leadership, diversity in nursing, workforce development and public policy to support healthier and safer communities.
