Arts Roundup: MFA Dance Concert, Photomedia Graduation Exhibition – and ‘Short Takes’ on Orpheus


This week, visit the School of Art + Art History + Design for a visiting scholar lecture or graduation exhibition, and engage directly with the artists at the Burke Museum’s Native Art Market. Catch the annual MFA Dance Concert or a performance by the School of Music’s Daana Quartet. Explore the enduring legacy of the Orpheus & Eurydice legend with faculty from the Arts and Humanities in a fast-paced “short takes” event.

In this fast-paced, “short takes” event, faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences’ Humanities and Arts divisions will each spend five minutes exploring the ancient tale of Orpheus and Eurydice, viewing this legend through the lenses of music, art, geology, literature, religion, cinema and more.
