Jane Comfort & Company employs wit and humor to explore the American notion of female attractiveness in “Beauty,” a provocative dance-theater work that uses the quintessential image of Barbie to explore the cultural pressures surrounding women’s physiques, attire and appearance. More info.

New Burke Community Open House

The Burke Museum is embarking on a multi-year transformation project that will culminate in a new facility that will open in fall 2019. The public is invited to an open house to learn more about the project, ask questions and share thoughts. RSVP is recommended. More info.
