Dance concerts — both UW dance majors and the Limón Dance Company — stand out in a crowded week in UW arts that also boasts a wide variety of music. Take your pick from among jazz, classical piano, percussion, glee club, voice recitals, the Oceana Quartet and a combined band concert with the UW Wind Ensemble.

Also, the Burke Museum holds Dino Day (65 million years in the making), “Macbeth” continues, the Women Who Rock Collective gathers at Washington Hall and the Henry Art Gallery has a cool new exhibit in its lobby about webcomics. Has this Arts Roundup ever told you that you are the wind ensemble beneath its wings?

Web artists act as their own editors and publishers, experimenting with digital tools and narrative structures to create and distribute comics freed from the printed page.
