Official Notice: Environmental impact statement for IMA field #1 improvements

Pursuant to the provisions of WAC 197-11-510 and WAC 478-324-140, the University of Washington hereby provides public notice of the AVAILABILITY OF A DRAFT SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT (SEIS) and PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SEIS.

Project Name: Recreational Sports IMA Field #1 Improvements

Proponent: University of Washington

Description: Improvements include installation of approximately 150,000 square feet of artificial turf, curb, pedestrian paths, light poles providing night time field illumination and fencing. The total area of disturbance will be approximately 200,000 square feet.

Location: University of Washington Seattle Campus, east campus. 3200 NE Clark Road. The site is bounded by NE 45th Street on the north, Mary Gates Memorial Drive and Laurel Village on the east, Clark Road on the south and University Slough and the Golf Driving Range on the west.

Lead Agency: University of Washington

Public Hearing: A public hearing has not been scheduled. The provisions of WAC 197-11-535 shall apply.
