More than 200 adults and children came to the event. Each was issued either an adult or child Passport to Health before they toured the clinic. UW Medicine health professionals offered to measure kids height, weight and blood pressure at various stations and stamp their passports. Adults could obtain similar screenings (and stamps), and a personal risk factor assessment for heart disease.
The clinic staff noted that they were excited to support the healthy lifestyles of their local community, and getting to meet the open house visitors. The Ravenna Clinic is the newest among the eight UW Neighborhood Clinics of UW Medicine.
