Filming of movie '21 and Over' continues on UW campus

The film 21 and Over continues to film on the UW campus in September and its producers would like the campus community to know about a few upcoming filming dates and locations.

21 and Over, is a comedy starring Justin Chon, Sarah Wright and Miles Teller. According to the description at IMDb, the Internet Movie Database, the story is, “The night before his big medical school exam, a promising student celebrates his 21st birthday with his two best friends.”

Sept. 19: In the afternoon  they will shoot a driving stunt on the Burke Gilman trail at Rainier Vista. Traffic will be controlled during the shoot and detours will be available for the Burke Gilman and Triangle trails.

Sept. 21-22: They will film a night pep rally scene near the climbing rock south of Husky  Stadium. There will be a large controlled bonfire as part of the scene. The Seattle Fire Department will be in attendance, and will coordinate with Seattle Police and the UW Police both nights.

Sept. 26-30: They will be rigging and filming a car stunt that will involve a large crane near the Burke Gilman trail at Rainier Vista. Filming of the stunt will take place at night.  There will be periodic traffic controls in place on the trail for safety as the rigging is constructed and tested during daylight hours. Detours will be available for the Burke Gilman and Triangle trails.
