Arboretum plans fall plant sale

The Arboretum will hold a fall plant sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 25 hosted by the Pat Calvert Greenhouse and the Plant Donations Nursery.

After a long season of propagating, growing, potting, and re-potting, greenhouse and nursery volunteers will have a lot of plants on offer. There will be trees, shrubs, and perennials, plus many unusual species and varieties. The Arboretum will offer a 25 percent discount on all greenhouse inventory, as well as on select donations nursery plants.

The sale will be at the Graham Visitors Center, 2300 Arboretum Drive. Admission and parking are free. All proceeds benefit the Washington Park Arboretum. For more information, call 206-325-4510 or visit the website.
