News and Information

There will be some disruptions on campus, including on Monday, Aug. 22, when portions of Stevens Way will be closed intermittently from 7 a.m. until noon because a film is being shot on campus.

The film is “21 and Over,” a comedy starring Justin Chon, Sarah Wright and Miles Teller. According to the description at IMDb, the Internet Movie Database, the story is, “The night before his big medical school exam, a promising student celebrates his 21st birthday with his two best friends.”

While the film crew will on campus until late September, most of the shooting will occur within buildings and much outdoor shooting will be in the evening. Disruptions are expected on only the following days:

  • Aug. 29, in the afternoon, traffic stunts on the lawn north of Parrington may cause traffic backups as drivers on Memorial Way stop to watch the activities;
  • September 2, from 8 a.m. until noon, driving stunts on Memorial Way and Stevens Way may cause intermittent traffic problems;
  • September 6, in the afternoon, there may be temporary traffic blockages on Memorial Way;
