Vice President for Minority Affairs and Vice Provost for Diversity Sheila Edwards Lange is accepting nominations for the 2011 Diversity Award for Community Building. The honor is presented annually to a University of Washington student, staff member or faculty member whose efforts toward positive change on campus have resulted in multicultural community building.
The award recipient will be honored at the 2011 Multicultural Alumni Partnership (MAP) Bridging the Gap Breakfast during UW Homecoming weekend on Saturday, Oct. 29.
