UW School of Medicine Alumni Association President Trish Raymer read the names of students as they walked across the stage to receive a congratulatory handshake from Ramsey and to receive their white coats. Dressed in knee-length white coats, faculty from the six medical school colleges — Big Sky, Columbia River, Denali, Rainier, Snake River and Wind River — presented white jackets to students in their colleges.

Ramsey concluded the ceremony by reciting the Physician’s Oath to the students and directing them to put on their white coats.

UW Medical Alumni Affairs and the School of Medicine’s Academic Affairs Office sponsored the ceremony.
