UW Bothell to co-host North End Community Health Fair

UW Bothell and the Childrens Home Society of Washingtons North Seattle Family Center are hosting the North End Community Health Fair on Tuesday, May 24.

The fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the North Seattle Family Center, 3200 NE 125th St. Suite 2, in Seattle. Its purpose is to provide basic health service and information to underserved individuals living in north King County. The fair is free and open to all.

The health fair was organized by Mabel Ezeonwu, nursing program assistant professor, along with the students in her UW Bothell community nursing partnerships course. Ezeonwu is a scholar in the Sigma Theta Tau International and Elsevier Foundation Nurse Faculty Mentorship Leadership program, which is partially funding the event.

Additional community partners participating in this event include UW Bothell Nursing faculty and RN-BSN students; the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance; Pacific Medical Clinic, Northgate; and Seattle–King County Public Health.
