Ethical dilemmas in global health will be discussed May 25
The Global Health Social Justice & Equity Forum will present a discussion of “Ethical Dilemmas in Global Health” from noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, in Room T-625 at the UW Health Sciences Building.
The speakers at the event will be:
Dr. Maureen Kelley, UW assistant professor of pediatrics
Dr. Clarence Spigner, a pharmacist and adjunct professor of global health
Sarah Gimbel, nurse, public health specialist, and technical advisor, Monitoring & Evaluation, Health Alliance International
Dr. Steve Gloyd, physician and executive director, Health Alliance International.
They will talk about their first-hand experiences working through and handling dilemmas likely to be encountered by students and new professionals entering the field of global health.
The event is free and open to all.
