New voice mail system for UW Seattle: Are you affected?

UW News

Most UW Seattle faculty and staff who use campus voice mail, and a few off-campus units, will be upgraded to a new system on May 11, and will need to set up a new voice mailbox beforehand.

To see if your phone is affected, type in the last five digits of your phone number (with no dash) in the voicemail checker and follow the instructions provided. The upgrade will not go into effect until May 11, so continue checking your messages as you do now until the switchover date. After June 10, any messages saved on your previous voice mailbox will no longer be accessible.

See a Q&A for details and new feature highlights, including increased storage capacity. UW-IT will send email in early May to remind you to set up your new voice mailbox before May 11.
