Teaching and Learning Symposium set for April 19

The 7th Annual UW Teaching and Learning Symposium will be held from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19 in Kane Hall.

The symposium will open with a keynote address in Room 210 by Matt McGarrity, Department of Communication.  He will speak on Teaching to the in-between times: Helping students study and practice the course material.

The poster session to follow will feature 33 poster presentations on the innovative teaching work of UW faculty, staff and graduate students. It will be in the Walker-Ames Room.

The symposium is sponsored by the Center for Teaching and Learning, the Faculty Council on Teaching and Learning and the Learning Centers at UW Bothell and UW Tacoma. See the full program, as well as video clips from past symposia. No registration or RSVP is required.
