Learn do-it-yourself efficiency, savings at the Home Improvement Fair April 13

Even in a recession, you can do things to increase your homes energy efficiency, which in turn saves money. Stop by the 14th annual Home Improvement Fair, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, in Mary Gates Commons, and learn more.

This years fair will focus on such small projects that can help increase your homes efficiency and save you money along the way.

Participating exhibitors will include Earthwise Home Salvage, Mariposa Naturescapes, Puget Sound Solar, Seattle Tilth, Absolute Painting Solutions, Habitat for Humanitys retail outlet,  the City of Seattle Planning & Development office, Seattle City Light, Puget Sound Energy and The RE-Store.

There will be refreshments, demonstrations and a chance to win door prizes, including an iPad and gift certificates from several of the participating exhibitors.
