The government official who oversees such treatment decisions, along with 18 other leaders in the world of cancer treatment and related fields, will discuss the issues at March 4 conference at the UW School of Law.

Regulating the Drug Treatment of Cancer will feature Dr. Richard Pazdur, director of the Office of Oncology Drug Products in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at the Federal Drug Administration. Larry Kessler, chairman of the UW Department of Health Services, will moderate a public interview of Pazdur.

The conference is sponsored by the Schools of Law, Medicine, Public Health and Pharmacy.
