Littlefield Organ Series presents Mark Brombaugh Feb. 13

The Littlefield Organ Series will present Mark Brombaugh, interim director of music ministries at Christ Episcopal Church in Tacoma, performing works by several composers on the UWs famed Littlefield Organ.

The program will include Praeludium in G Major by Bruhns; Magnificat, Tone III (4 Verses) by Scheidemann; Fugue in a minor (Clavierübung) by Lübeck; movements from Sonata III in F Major, Wq 70 by C.P.E. Bach; Chaconne in f minor by Pachelbel; Sonata III by Woodman; and  Fantasia and Fugue in c minor (BWV 537) by J.S. Bach.

Brombaugh’s concert appearances as organist and harpsichordist have taken him throughout the United States. As a clinician he has led workshops and master classes for the American Guild of Organists, Presbyterian Association of Musicians and the Hymn Society of America.  He served as Curator of Organs at Westminster Choir College and as consultant for numerous churches. He is past national secretary of the Organ Historical Society.
