Before Washington gets a chance to aim at Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl, the Husky volleyball team will take the first shot on Friday as they face the Huskers in NCAA volleyball action. UWTV will broadcast NCAA regional semifinals live from Hec Edmundson Pavilion on Friday, Dec. 10. The evening starts with the Cal versus Minnesota match at 5 p.m., followed by the unseeded Huskies who will square off against the Huskers at 7 p.m. UWTV will be the only broadcast network to carry these matches; see the complete schedule information.

This is the fourth time in recent history that the UW has hosted regional volleyball matches for the NCAA, including this years first and second rounds. The Husky volleyball team defeated Michigan and seventh-ranked Hawaii to advance to the Sweet 16 match this weekend. The winners of Fridays match will compete on Saturday at Hec Ed, with the final team left standing advancing to the Final Four in Kansas City on Dec. 16 and 18.
