The Prostate Cancer Survivors Celebration Breakfast is the foremost fundraising event in the Northwest dedicated to raising money and awareness for prostate cancer research.

The breakfast will feature keynote speaker Mitchell H. Gold, M.D., a resident alumnus of the UW School of Medicine and the president and chief executive officer of Dendreon Corp. Fortune has named Mitch Gold one of nation’s top big tech CEOs.

Also, for the first time appearing together, Kenny G and The Canadian Tenors will perform live at the breakfast.

The event is expected to raise more than $1 million for the Institute of Prostate Cancer Research (IPCR), a collaboration between UW Medicine and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

The event will take place at 7:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 9, at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel; 1400 Sixth Ave., Seattle. Tickets are $250/person, $2,500/table of 10.
