Foster School of Business presents Entrepreneur Week UW Nov. 1-5

All things entrepreneurial will be in the spotlight at the Foster School of Business Nov. 1-5. It’s Entrepreneur Week UW, sponsored by the school’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Science and Engineering Business Association, and the UW Center for Commercialization.

Entrepreneur Week offers 10 events in five days to promote entrepreneurship across campus. Events include a career panel, workshops and networking opportunities focused on starting new companies. Topics include startups, venture capital, technology commercialization, social media and green ventures.

The week kicks off with “Entrepreneurial Career Panel: How to Create Your Dream Job,” from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1 in 394 Paccar Hall. The panel includes four Foster School alumni who describe how they created their successful startups. It will be followed by a kickoff reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Paccar’s Dempsey Gallery.
