Early Bloomers plant sale at the Arboretum
Gardeners will find a great selection of young shrubs, small trees, conifers, bonsai starts, and early-blooming perennials at the Arboretum Foundation’s annual Early Bloomers sale on Saturday, April 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This friendly, volunteer-run sale features plants propagated from specimens in the Washington Park Arboretum collection, as well as others donated to the Arboretum by area gardeners.
This year the Arboretum has a good supply of early-blooming perennials such as
hellebores, trilliums, primroses, pulmonaria and hepatica.
The Early Bloomers sale will be held outside Washington Park Arboretum’s Graham Visitors Center, at 2300 Arboretum Drive East. Parking and admission are free; the sale benefits Washington Park Arboretum.
