‘From Behavior to Brain.’

Adults are armchair psychologists, attributing to ourselves and our social partners various goals, intentions, desires and beliefs to explain our own and others’ behaviors. The UW’s Jessica Sommerville and Rebecca Saxe of MIT investigate the development of thinking about people from infancy through the school years using both behavioral and brain-based methods in a lecture titled The Development of Thinking about People: From Behavior to Brain.
