Arboretum’s ‘FlorAbundance’ plant sale April 25-26

The Arboretum Foundation’s FlorAbundance, the region’s largest plant sale, returns to Building 30 of the Warren G. Magnuson Park Special Events Center on Saturday, April 25 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.), and Sunday, April 26 (10 a.m. to 3 p.m.).

Dozens of top specialty nurseries and vendors will be on hand at the 60th annual event, selling a wide selection of choice, locally-grown plants, from ornamental trees to tasty edibles.

What to look for this year:

  • Lots of new vegetable varieties and heirlooms for your kitchen-garden patch
  • Teas trees, mint bush, phormiums, and salvias to replace those lost to harsh winter weather
  • New hardy fuschias
  • An expanded selection of native plants

Parking and admission are free; the sale benefits Washington Park Arboretum. For more information, go to www.arboretumfoundation.org or call 206-325-4510.
