Biology of aging pilot project applications due March 27

The UW Nathan Shock Center of Excellence in the Basic Biology of Aging will fund pilot projects in basic research on the biology of aging. Up to $35,000 per pilot project is available for one year of support. Applicants should be investigators at, or affiliated with, the University of Washington or the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Applications may be designed to rapidly pursue a new finding or research opportunity, or to obtain preliminary data that will serve as a basis for a major research grant application.
