Jacob Lawrence Gallery presents ‘Works on Paper + Small 3D’

The Jacob Lawrence gallery will present an exhibition featuring works on paper and small 3D from Nov. 26 to Dec. 13. The show was curated by Kris Anderson, gallery manager, and juried by Michael Darling, curator of modern and contemporary art at the Seattle Art Museum.

Works on Paper + Small 3D highlights the diversity and creativity of the many students who make the School of Art one of the most highly regarded in the nation. In this exhibit, students are given guidelines that all 2D works are required to be on paper and 3D works to be within the size of 12″ x 12″ x 12″. Working within those requirements, students extend the boundaries with their ideas.

The Jacob Lawrence Gallery is located in the north corner of the Art building on the first floor. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. There will be an opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25. All events at the Gallery are free and open to the public.
