Attention gardeners: Bulb and plant sale at the Arboretum

Hundreds of spring-blooming bulb selections and companion plants will be available at the Arboretum Foundation’s Fall Bulb and Plant Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 5, at Washington Park Arboretum’s Graham Visitors Center, 2300 Arboretum Drive E.

And this year, the sale has been expanded. It will continue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, so that shoppers who miss the weekend sale have another opportunity to buy their bulbs.

Bulb selections will include narcissus, tulips, crocus, alliums, cyclamen and more. Gardeners will find rare, unusual, and heirloom varieties, plus many garden favorites, and bulbs for forcing indoors. Approximately 15 specialty nurseries will sell perennials, shrubs, and other plants, along with bulb accessories.

Parking and admission are free; the sale benefits Washington Park Arboretum.
