Bike safety talk slated for Feb. 4

Kent Peterson of the Bicycle Alliance of Washington will present a free bike safety lecture at noon Monday, Feb. 4 in 142 Gerberding. The talk is titled The Out-of-Box Experience: Cycling Sanely in a Mad, Mad World.

Peterson is returning for an encore after his popular class last year on biking safely in dark and wet conditions. He’ll share his love of cycling, mixing the practical how-to of bike safety with a bit of his biking philosophy. The class is sponsored by the Commuter Services Ride in the Rain Challenge.
