Survey input wanted on long-term care

The State of Washington is seeking individuals to complete an online survey concerning retirement, long-term care, and financing of that care. The results will be used to help formulate a more effective long-term care plan for the state.

Project collaborators include Sue McCurry of the School of Nursing and Michiko Iwasaki and Soo Borson of the School of Medicine. The survey has been endorsed by the governor for completion by state employees in the work place.

The survey, available at https://catalysttools.washington.edu/webq/survey/michiko7/39346 takes about 10 minutes to complete. The computer system is programmed to ensure anonymity for this survey. The reports will use aggregate information, with nothing reported at the individual level.

For comments, feedback, or questions about the project or survey, please contact Michiko Iwasaki at 206-616-1119 or michiko7@u.washington.edu. The UW’s Human Subjects Division, 206-543-0098, can answer questions about an individual’s rights and role as a research participant. The primary investigator is Sue McCurry, research associate professor in the School of Nursing.
