It’s a musical week at the UW

In the mood for some music? There are many opportunities this week.

Student composers will present their works in the Composers’ Workshop, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, in Brechemin Auditorium. Tickets are $5.

An afternoon of chamber music by the UW’s Baroque Ensemble will be presented at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, in the Walker-Ames Room of Kane. Tickets are $10.

The UW Percussion Ensemble and the UW Graduate Percussion Quartet will team up for Percussion Ensemble: Cymbals of the Fall, at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, in the Meany Studio Theater. Tickets are $10.

The UW Wind Ensemble, Concert Band and Campus Band will team up for From Sea to Shining C, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, in Meany Theater. Tickets are $10.

The Studio Jazz Ensemble will play original compositions and classic jazz pieces in a concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, in Meany Theater. Tickets are $10.

The University Symphony will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, in Meany Theater. Tickets are $10.
