Alzheimer’s disease Public Forum set for June 13

The UW 22nd Annual Alzheimer’s Disease Public Forum takes place from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, at North Seattle Community College Concert Hall, 9600 College Way N., Seattle. The forum is sponsored by the UW Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, Friends of Alzheimer’s Research, the Western Washington Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, The Alzheimer Society of Washington, and the UW School of Nursing de Tornyay Center for Healthy Aging.


Dr. David Buchner, chief of Physical Activity and Health Branch, Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, will present The Surprising Links Between Physical Activity, Brain Health, and Healthy Aging.  


This forum is open to the general public. Admission and parking are free. No registration required. Refreshments will be offered at 6:30 p.m. and the program starts at 7 p.m.
