Hear clarinet, piano, cello at coming School of Music events

A faculty recital on clarinet, a concert featuring piano and cello and student performances are being offered by the UW School of Music in coming days.



  • Students in ethnomusicology will perform solos and ensembles from around the world in a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 12, in Brechemin Auditorium. Tickets are $5. 206-685-8384.



  • Faculty pianist Regina Yeh will team with cello prodigy Camden Shaw to perform Rachmaninoff’s Sonata in G minor for cello and piano at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 13, in Brechemin Auditorium. Tickets are $10. 206-685-8384.



  • Clarinet soloist, chamber musician, composer and UW faculty member Sean Osborn will perform works by Brahms and Debussy as well as his own composition, Character Pieces, in a concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 14, in Meany Theater.
