UW Police — and their new dog Kali — on show in open house April 4

The UW Police will hold their annual open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, in the Bryants Building, on Boat Street, near the Fisheries Science Building.

There will be a photo booth, tours of the facility, information on how special events are handled and a showing of the new in-car video system in one of the police cares. But perhaps best yet, it’s a chance for visitors to see the UW Police’s new explosive detection dog, Kali, show off her talents with her human partner, officer Kenny Johns. Together they comprise a new bomb-detection team for the police.

The entire campus community is welcome. For more information about the UW Police, visit online at http://www.washington.edu/admin/police, or call 206-543-0507.
